SWAP is a digital platform that is accessible to citizens, empowering them to report solid waste management to a public platform, and enabling all stakeholders to view the reported concerns. SWAP works with private waste collection firms, local stakeholders, and residents to design and refine tools to increase accountability and responsiveness in municipal solid waste collection and management. SWAP aims to expand the inexpensive and scalable platform to municipalities outside of the initial service areas.
